Mark Saber - Season 5

Captain Edge reports, to the police, two men disposing a body on the sea bank. When the body can't be found his granddaughter asks Mark Saber for help. Saber and assistant Paul Paulson find the body and believe the suspects are locals.

Texan Mr. Dugan, asks Mark Saber for help, when he is cheated out of £4,000, when he bought a fake painting by Ambroise Martin. To prove art dealer Guthrie is selling fakes Pete Paulson goes under cover as a rich American.

Ray Prentice has a shadow on the lung and has just three months to live. With an insurance policy about run out without a medical, he decides get a hit-man to kill him. When he learns the doctor made an error he needs Mark Saber's help.

A millionaire comes to Mark asking him to find out who he is - his memories date back only to his time in the Second World War, and before that his memory is a complete blank. Someone is blackmailing him.

An argument over a priceless stamp turns to murder when a stamp dealer is found dead in his office. A rival collector is accused of the crime and the theft of the rare stamp. But when he arrives at Saber's office asking for help to clear his name, Saber must determine if he is helping an innocent man being played for a fool.

Colonel March asks Mark Saber for help. His friend Major Beanie is wheelchair bound and not been seen four days. His niece Marsha has vanished. Saber learns Marsha is a big spender and soon caught trying to forge her uncle's cheque.

Following a car crash, that killed three friends, Julie Forbes' father sends her on a sea voyage to Naples. During the trip, Julie appears to be going mad when she claims to see a man murdered. Nobody believes her except for Mark Saber.

Evidence shows that the fire at a large hospital started in a locked storeroom. Three trusted staff members had keys. Is one of them an arsonist with a grudge?

Accountant Roger Shore asks Mark Saber for help when his 8-year-old son Peter has been kidnapped. He is told to pay £1,000 but misses his contact. Saber stands in but discovers it is Shore making the calls and there is no kidnapping.

George Peters leaves a trunk in an exclusive London hotel. When the maid opens the trunk she finds a dead body. Fearing bad publicity the hotel asks Mark Saber for help. He learns Harry Quinn has gone missing and his bank account emptied.

In an audacious daylight robbery an £8000 payroll is stolen from the Diamond Manufacturing Company. When notes taken from the heist begin to appear in circulation and two of the alleged robbers turn up dead, Saber must act quickly before anyone else is murdered.

John Bellville rings Mark Saber but falls unconscious. Saber finds Kitty Bellville dead and John fighting for his life following arsenic poisoning. Harrison Kane comes forward to say he give them the wine. Saber must find the truth.

Wells is accused by Mr. Rodney of fiddling the books. He has to the owner Mr. Westcott returns to get the money. Later that day he finds John Brading dying in the street and decides to take his identity unaware he is a wanted murderer.

Kathy Lansing dies in a car crash. She had a large diamond set in a cheap jewelry. The police think she may part of a smuggling ring alongside fiancee Tom Weeks. Saber knows her sister Jean so he speaks to Weeks but he is also murdered.

Petra Tomulkin is set for a secret meeting with her father but he is kidnapped in an Uranium embassy car. Mark Saber needs save Professor Franz Tomulkin but has to find a way inside the embassy before they torture him to death.

Tim Shute loans his flat to his friend Fred Bassett, who is using it for an all night poker game. When Shute returns home he finds Bassett has been stabbed to death. Instead of going to the police his asks Mark Saber to find the murderer.

Mr. Poole asks Mark Saber to help his wife while he is on a trip to Paris. She has been diagnosed with a terminal illness and he fears she make commit suicide. When Saber arrives at their flat she is dead but it soon looks very suspicious.

Two thugs badly beat up Mark Saber and warn him off the Pickard Case. Saber has never heard the name. The police tell him Amy Pickard has committed suicide. Next day, Jean Pickard visits Saber and asks him to solve her sister murder.
