Meanwhile, Rukn-ud-din is enjoying a bath, when he is interrupted by his mother. They plot to eliminate Nasir. There is tension between Qutub Begum and Uzma Begum. Mirza and his friend are sharing a meal, when soldiers arrive looking for them. He escapes and plans to go to Ghazni.
