Bhide is scared and holds Jethalal responsible for his condition. Champaklal gets tired with Jethalal's irksome behaviour. Jethalal asks Daya for the money, which he had given before, but gets upset with her behaviour. He is surprised to see Bhide's changed behaviour. Natu Kaka asks Champaklal why Jethalal has not reached his shop. Bhide is tensed while a woman reaches his house and places a big order for pickle to Madhavi.
