Estong and Grace feel a strong sense of regret as they mourn for Cristine's passing. Eleazar is forced to make a big decision, putting Moises' fate in jeopardy.

Moises feels betrayed by Eleazar's decision, while the Sagrado family celebrates Rafael's rise to power. Mercedes makes a deal with Diego to get rid of Moises once and for all.

When Diego returns empty-handed, Mercedes takes matters into her own hands. Meanwhile, Eleazar demands the return of his daughter and threatens Jaime, who remains oblivious to the betrayal brewing among those closest to him.

Unaware of Danica's situation, Moises reaches out to her for help. Meanwhile, Nadia and Melanie suffer the consequence of aiding the Sagrados' archenemy.

While Rafael takes his oath as the new president, the police rush to Crestwood University in hopes of capturing Moises. Unbeknownst to them, a new ally comes to the boy's rescue.

Eleazar causes a scene at the Sagrados' celebration to pressure Jaime into freeing Danica. As the Malonzos get released from jail, Rafael soon learns about what happened to Grace.
