Meanwhile, Adi's comedy act, in which she fakes being a cancer patient, gains surprising success, and Amalia's teenage daughter, Ella, finds out she's pregnant. Despite being a surgeon accustomed to making life-or-death decisions for others, Amalia struggles with her own treatment, repeatedly rescheduling her operation. Finally, her family confronts her, with her ex-husband Amir providing the clearest perspective, nudging her towards a decision that would not only impact her life but the lives of those she holds dear.
