With a history of mulberry cultivation and sericulture, it prospered for many decades as a textile town. We meet artisans who practice traditional silk weaving and visit Tokyo's only remaining silkworm farm. Later, we make our way to the local geisha entertainment district, which flourished alongside the city's textile industry and is now looking to adapt to the changing times.
