The 'Tridev' and other devatas visit Maa Katyayani's home to inform her of her destiny. They also inform the girl's father that the little girl's child is Maa Katyayani herself who has incarnated to kill the demon. Maa Parvati comes as an earthly incarnation to put an end to the atrocities committed by the powerful demon Mahishahsur.
