Zandie advises Degenhardt to break up with Mara because of their relationship, but he can't do it, and Zandie walks in on Mara & Degenhardt hugging. Asteroids begin appearing out of nowhere, and the ship is only barely missing them, but Mara discovers the glowing rock is intefering with the navigation system and making the ship not realise about the asteroids. Tycho throws the rock away without telling anyone, and he doesn't know whether it was for better or for worse!
