Eileen wants to raise money for the centre appeal. Jason is taking comfort in the bottle. Katy and Mickey want to make amends with Jason, so they can enjoy Christmas together. Sandra is determined to find the perfect gift for Pete's Mum and Pip wants to rekindle her friendship with Nick. The strains of the festive season are brought into perspective when troubled farmer, Les Doyle, attempts suicide, despite John's attempts to help him.
