Soldier Soldier - Season 2

The men are sent on an exercise accompanied by a journalist who is the Lt. Col. Dan Fortune's new love interest but the exercise is suspended when a helicopter carrying the CO and the Padre crashes in woods.

A face from Corporal Paddy Garvey's past stirs up old resentments and shows a darker side to his personality causing Corporal Nancy Thorpe to question whether she wants to marry him.

As the regiment moves to Hong Kong everyone has trouble acclimatising to the new environment and climate. New Company Commander Lt. Alex Pereira decides he wants his company to be the best but it has dire consequences for everyone.

The Tuckers learn they are going to be parents and this results in rash decisions being made which impacts on everyone. Lt. Alex Pereira and Lt. Kate Butler start getting close.

Major Bob Cochrane gets too close to the daughter of an influential businessman and matters could force him out of the army. Rivalry between the men and women surfaces during a dragon boat race.

The desire to become Lance Corporals almost ends in disaster for David Tucker and Midnight Rawlings after they attend a local brothel. The CO has his own troubles when his wife takes refuge of the child of an illegal immigrant.

2nd Lt. Kate Butler faces hostility from the Marines during an exercise but has the last laugh. Lt. Col Dan Fortune has to break the outcome of the reorganisation of the armed forces to the men and has his own decisions to make.
