Wind at My Back - Season 5

A mysterious stranger arrives in New Bedford and expresses interest in Grace. Fat tries to prove to himself that he is no longer a little kid. Honey is unable to reopen her salon as Callie refuses to rent her the space.

The situation with Grace causes stress for May. Grace and Van's thoughts turn to wedding plans. Honey's salon reopens, but she has trouble attracting business. Hub meets a young girl who needs help.

Members of the family struggle with how to take care of May while maintaining their own lives. Maisey worries that she will be shipped off as May is unable to look after her.

May's nurse arrives in New Bedford. A new girl enters Fat and Pritchard's class.

Grace and Van arrive at Lakeview Estate.

Max looks forward to his anniversary with Honey. Someone is sending Rebecca secret admirer letters. Hub receives a letter for athletics.

The town council seeks a new mayor for New Bedford.

Hub gets to know a young man who is passing through town. Fat seeks a chess master to coach him in the game. Someone special pays May a visit.

New Bedford readies itself for the annual Silver Dome fishing tournament and Bank picnic at Bass Lake.

A man who worked with Hub at the lumber mill takes up a temporary position at the mine. The Bell Award is to be presented in New Bedford, and Honey, as the mayor's wife, must make a speech introducing the recipient of the award. Toppy struggles to find entertainment for the awards ceremony.

The Masked Rider comes to town. Grace receives a strange letter.

Grace confronts Van about his identity.

Grace decides how she will deal with Van. Honey and Max talk to Hub about his future.
