Mike reports for duty. Pang welcomes him back warmly. She puts him to work, investigating the murder of an NUS student. But he's unsure of himself and goes after the wrong suspects. He thinks he ought to give up being a cop but Pang and Alan talk him out of it. Sean recovers in hospital. Gets visits from Alan, Kim and Jacintha. Chin Huat asks for Kim's help in convincing Mr Han to visit Sean. Kim starts playing with the Internet ICQ and finds an interesting guy she can chat with. Su-Lyn takes Herb to her place where she likes to think about things. They share a kiss there.
