The Cleaning Lady

Thony, a whip-smart Cambodian doctor, struggles to make ends meet as an undocumented worker after coming to the U.S. from the Philippines in search of a medical treatment for her ailing son. After witnessing a murder, Thony cleans the crime scene to stay alive, then begins living a double life, cleaning for a crime syndicate while doing what is necessary to save her son.

Thony attempts to sever ties with the crime syndicate when the FBI comes asking questions. But when her son’s health declines, she crosses a moral line, getting deeper involved with the syndicate. Meanwhile, things turn violent during a weapons exchange when inventory goes missing and Arman has 24 hours to find the thief.

Thony is given a dire ultimatum by Garrett that could compromise her son's access to medical treatment. Arman is tasked with collecting large "donations" for Hayak's daughter's wedding, calling into question his real role within the family. Meanwhile, a rift forms between Fiona and her son, Chris, when a secret is revealed that has major consequences for his future, sending Fiona into a spiral as she tries to find a solution.

With nowhere else to turn, she enlists the help of FBI Agent Garrett Miller to track him down before they leave the country. Meanwhile, an incident involving Chris forces Fiona to shield her son by any means necessary.

Thony's in-laws (Fiona's loving-yet-overbearing father and reserved-yet-strong mother) come to Las Vegas. Meanwhile, Thony must help Arman by meeting with Robert Kamdar, Nadia's gregarious and charming ex-lover.

Thony must team up with Arman and Nadia in a new money-making venture to save Luca's life. Meanwhile, Fiona works to keep Chris out of trouble when the threat of evidence arises.
