Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye

Sue Thomas is a Deaf woman with the ability to read lips. She moves to Washington, D.C. to begin her new job as an FBI agent and discovers that her new job is not all it's cracked up to be. Due to an out-of-date directory, she accidentally vents her disappointment to Special Agent Jack Hudson, who is impressed by her honesty and tests her skills by having her read a colleague's lips, discovering he is planning a weekend away with a woman. Jack asks Sue to join his Unit of Special Investigators, where she discovers that her new friend Lucy is the girlfriend of Myles, the man Sue saw earlier planning a trip with a different woman.

Sue is put in the uncomfortable position of knowing that her new colleague Myles is having an affair behind his girlfriend Lucy's back while also trying to prove that, now that Jack has given her the chance of a lifetime, she has what it takes to follow through.

When Sue becomes an official member of the team, Jack trains her, and he has a perfect case for her: a bomb threat against a former FBI agent.

While trying to protect an Afghan leader, the team loses their primary assassin. But when they think that all hope is lost, another possible assassin is tracked down and put under surveillance, giving the team interesting results.

After Jack and Bobby arrest a drug dealer they, along with Sue, interrogate him in order to capture other drug dealers in the trade. Meanwhile, the rest of the team is focused on the brand-new offices on the fifth floor.

Having been handed a case about an infamous convict, the team tries to get closer to the convict through his partner, who is deaf.

Sue meets Amanda, who tells her she saw a kidnapping. Everyone has trouble believing the story except Sue. Sue first met Amanda at Career Day some years ago. Myles meets Nora who wants to write a book on him. Sue learns someone died of Ricin poisoning by Castor Beans. To make sure her story is true, Amanda see the kidnappers again (after sneaking out of her home) she plants a tracking device. Tara gets a note that terrorists know where Amanda lives, Amanda's dad wants help in communicating with Amanda. Myles gives Nora an idea for her book, she wants to focus on Amanda and get to know Myles.

The gang gets word of another shooting making this attack the third one in two days. Jack tells Sue that he was a Sniper before working for the FBI. Sue then gives Jack a report that tells only about the barrel of the gun used but not the type of gun used. Just as Jack goes to rest he learns the Mayor was shot. When Jack gives a press conference he gets the idea to make himself a target in hopes catching the sniper. Sue goes to the dance with David, but Jack doesn't want Sue to worry about the case.

Sue thinks something is wrong with Charlie, when he doesn't remember needing to change the oil in her car. Sue changes her mind as to what she thinks is wrong with him when Charlie tells her he had to get rid of some things his late wife owned. Troy thinks Charlie may have a hearing problem, because Troy had seen Charlie yell at a customer. In order to find a suicide bomber Bobby & Sue meet a hacker who was told to hack websites on a dare.

The Boys are apart of an online bachelor auction, soon Myles gets the most bids for charity. Sue tries to honor a dying mother's wish, to find out who killed her daughter Julie. The FBI talks to Brian Cooper who killed Julie because she helped rob the bank. Sue learns that there is sometimes a limit to how much justice is allowed by law.

To solve there latest case Jack & Sue pretend to be a married couple. They need to find out why Joseph and Betty are funding terrorist acts. Sue meets Betty and learns she donates time to service dog charities. They try to come up with answers to questions Joseph & Betty might ask. As Sue tries to read Joseph's lips, Jack finds himself in love with Sue. Jack learns Sue is a great cook. Levi also falls in love. Miles hurts his car while tracking Joseph. The man Sue & Jack are tracking is assuming a dead man named Joseph who died in 1996 of a heart attack. Myles learns that one of the Virginia College students is planning to spread Bubonic Plague all over Washington D.C.

The FBI worries that an upcoming march could be the target of a possible terrorist attack. Sue tries to enlist Betty's help in trying to capture her husband. Jack and the gang find where the Bubonic Plague was stored and how Joseph maybe spreading it. As Betty learns more about her husband she understands that Sue was right about him.

Howie tells Sue & Lucy someone is trying to kill him. After Howie tells Lucy and Sue someone is trying to kill him they find it hard to believe until Sue asks him exactly what happened. Gunshots are fired proving Howie's point and making the case for the FBI to investigate.

Sue and the team begin tracking people who illegally entered the country on a fake Visas. After they find the person they're looking for they learn he is a barely alive because his kidney was taken. Lucy and Sue invite Lucy's cousin to stay for a few days, soon Lucy and Sue find it difficult to tell Anita to leave.

Sue tries to stop an act of Ecoterrorism with the help of Joel. Who claims he was burned 12 years ago due to Ecoterrorism. Sue and the team tried to stop The Earth Emancipation Project from killing anyone else. Joel Finch agrees to go undercover with the FBI to stop EEP from doing something very dangerous.

Sue meets a special agent with the FBI named Tony. While Sue is undercover with Tony things get off to a bad start when he refers to Sue as "his girl" Jack immediately questions Tony's interests that he has for Sue. The relationship between Sue and Tony goes even further when he asks her how to sign do you want to go to dinner? Lucy learns something shocking that will change Sue and Tony's relationship.

Adam Kinsey of ""Final flight"" is assigned to shadow Jack and learn some secrets of the trade and follow the team. Howie tells Sue, Jack, and Adam about some information he got regarding a gun shipment. Otis had plasma screen TV that he wants to sell so he can get out of dealing with the guns. After the team finds the man Otis has been working for Adam requests to see the dead body he learns that looking at a dead body may be harder than he thinks. Adam begins to fall in love with Tara. Things begin to get scary when the team learns that a plane flew into restricted airspace over Washington D.C. and suddenly goes missing after the pilot turns off so the plane can't be spotted.

The Deputy Attorney General has a problem with Jack's handling of the latest case. Jack wants to transport someone who may have possible information on a terrorist attack from Malaysia to the United States. The deputy attorney general denies Jack's request because he fears Jack maybe bringing a terrorist into the United States. Meanwhile Adam Kinsey of "" final flight gets unprecedented access to continue researching his role as an FBI agent. The unprecedented access gives the team problems when his personal gets in the way. Things get slightly more complicated for Tara when Stanley her old boyfriend returns to help crack the code of a possible terrorist plot from "" the king of terror.""
