Faraday is staggered to discover he's unable to decipher Newton's blueprint for the machine. The mission grinds to a halt until Faraday discovers long buried truths about the relationship between earth and his home planet of Anthea.

In what we would call a love letter to his wife on Anthea, Faraday shares with her the complexities of becoming human.

With the weight of the CIA bearing down on them, Faraday and Justin decide that going public is their only shot at survival. They hatch a desperate plan to save the machine and ensure the safety of Justin's family, even as Justin's faith in Faraday is threatened. 

A wild shootout leaves the entire group in the hands of a rogue CIA operative obsessed with uncovering Faraday’s true identity.

Faraday and Justin must battle with rogue CIA operative Spencer Clay for their very lives.
