12 new contestants enter a brand new house for the first time. There are a few refinements to the rules. Official warnings will be given to any contestant deemed breaking the house regulations. Three strikes and they're out of the house, plus personal belongings such as books and musical instruments now have to be earned. The new housemates are: Alex, Jonny, Lee, PJ, Sandy, Spencer, Adele, Alison, Jade, Kate, Lynne and Sunita.

In the sixth eviction of Big Brother 3, Adele Roberts - a fitness fanatic from Birmingham is told she is the latest evictee of the Big Brother house. After Davina's big announcement, Jade and Kate help Adele get ready for her big exit. When the moment finally comes, everyone is nervous. When the doors open and Adele walks through, a huge BOO from the audience awaiting is audible. Alex is devastated and wonders why the public hate his ex-housemate so much. The whole group is severely shaken up by events of the evening.

The group are part of the next live task of Big Brother 4. For the first time in several weeks, the house divide is removed and the group reunited - there will be no Rich and Poor 'side' for the rest of Big Brother 4! A simple test on their time in the house is their task tonight. They will have their shopping budget to worry about, as its what will be decided upon by tonight's test.

After a tense task, the group are relieved to be able to go about the business as usual in the house. And as usual, Jade is bitching again - this time long-time victim Kate is the victim of her rants, once again.

The results of the task, which also determined the nominations for the week are revealed. Facing the axe this week are Kate, who has been up for the chop before, and PJ, who has never experienced nomination.

After the nomination result has settled into the group, fears and worries are starting to appear. PJ is fearful of getting evicted and the reception he will receive from the public.

Kate wonders about her chances of surviving the looming eviction vote. PJ assures her that she will be safe, and that he is more likely to get the boot.

Alex is the subject of ridicule when he accidently falls over in the garden. THREE TIMES. His blunder doesn't go unnoticed and his fellow housemates make sure he doesn't forget about it.

As eviction looms, nominated housemates PJ and Kate prepare a meal for their fellow contestants which proves a big success. But, though the smiles may be wide at the dinner table, a still concerned PJ wonders what will become of him, in the privacy of his own room.

He may have been a liked and respected member of the house in the opinions of the housemates he shared his time with, but PJ was most definatley not a hit with the public. Voted out with more than 80% of the votes, there was simply no denying that his time in the house had come to an end. A delighted Kate was safe for another week, and PJ would have to face the world, a new celebrity. On his exit, he recieved a good reception from the audience and press. His interview with Davina proved a hit, and in it he spoke openly about his time in the house, his thoughts and his opinions. But most importantly, he was coy when asked about the infamous late-night 'action' with Jade, did she give PJ a BJ? Well, for two weeks at least, the world wouldn't know.

In the penultimate task, the contestants are a mess and fail to win. They miss out on a huge shopping budget, and must make-do with only the bare essentials for the following week. Jade complains to Big Brother in the diary room, in the hope her pleas for a big shopping trolley full of delicious food and drink will not be in vain. They are.

The housemates shopping arrives, and since they failed their task - it's less than impressive. Once again, they appeal to Big Brother for some sort of a treat or gift to help the strain of a tiny shopping budget, but they leave the diary room without success.

It's the final time they will be expected to do so, but the housemates must make their nominations for the week once again. Despite being the last time, no changes to procedure are made and the votes are private.

The nominations are announced, and it's Johnny and Tim who will face the chop this final eviction week.

The group discuss who is up for eviction, and Kate makes it clear she will be keeping her fingers crossed for Johnny to stay, while Jade, although privately, admits she wants him out.

In preparation for the eviction result, Tim and Johnny shake hands and agree to put their past difficulties behind them. The group discuss changes in the world, after the terrible events of 9/11.

The housemates await nervously the eviction results for the final time. Who will fall at the final hurdle and miss out on a chance to be in the Big Brother 3 final four?

Who would have thought a replacement housemate, a person rejected for the final cut, would bring the nation such entertainment? Although most of it was through laughing AT and not WITH him, or wondering if he actually knows what's coming out his mouth, there is no denying what entertainment he brought to the proceedings of Big Brother 3. But, hated by the public as he was, he couldn't survive the first public vote he was put in and was booted out. On his exit, the audience were less than welcoming. An ever arrogant Tim makes confident gestures and wills the audience to continue their booing. Inside the studio, his revealing interview with Davina lays to rest several of his more shocking and intriguing moments. Davina's upfront interviewing technique means she also asks the question the nation wants the answer to - is Tim Ginger?

The housemates must bet on a former housemate who they think will win an egg race. They pick Sophie, who goes on to win the race, and the housemates get a shopping budget of £400.

A chance to catch up on Sunday's happenings, and the opportunity to look again at the final task.

It's day 62, and the contestants, who have made it to the finals, are given a surprise hamper box by Big Brother to celebrate their success.

In the last of the nightly highlight programmes, we see how the contestants are getting along on the sixty third day of the show, knowing their freedom and chance at victory is just around the corner.

After nine weeks of back-stabbing, bitching, flirting, oral sex (possibly), tears, arguments and nudity, London girl Jade Goody is finally evicted from the Big Brother house. After surviving eviction twice, the final public vote couldn't save her, and Jade came fourth. On her exit, Jade was welcomed by a huge group of fans and the press. Jade would turn from a disliked Big Brother housemate to a much loved and respected celebrity. But for Alex, the Big Brother ride was finally over. After surviving the eviction vote on numerous occasions, his game was finally up. In third place, the original favourite to win, did well to surpass arguments, scandals, rumours and bitching to last the full 64 days. A hyped up audience and press awaited him too. And so it begins, the final-final-FINAL countdown. Just two contestants remain. Kate and Johnny! For one, the crown of Big Brother, and for the other the bittersweet title as 'runner up'. The last hour of Big Brother 3, the hour that all twelve contestant had wanted to reach, but only two had got there. Jonny and Kate awaited the news of who would win Big Brother. Meanwhile, Davina introduced the latest clips from the house, and interviewed tenth evicted housemate, Alex Sibley. Then, the announcement came that Jonny and Kate had been waiting for. The winner of Big Brother 3 was Kate, the first ever female winner of the UK show. Jonny was evicted seconds later, and interviewed by Davina, who then proceeded into the house itself to interview winner Kate. She was then walked out to centre stage to be awarded her £70,000 prize.
