After meeting Steven at the inn, Rodney admits to Allison that he never liked Steven. Betty reports her date with Reverand Jerry Bedford to Julie, confessing that it was refreshing to get out their house for a while. Ada finds Rita studying a book and suggests perhaps she's doing it to impress Norman, but Rita insists she want to improve herself. Norman drops by with a gift, then they're interrupted by Rita's rowdy old ""friends"" who arrive in a honking car outside. Rossi plans to move back into Elliot's beachside cottage now that Elliot is living in the ""Mackenzie"" home. Elliot waits impatiently for Allison, who, returning home from a date, is about to be kissed by Rodney at her front door.
