Biography
Mitchell LeBlanc is a writer/director based in Toronto who loves horror, sci-fi, and The Weird.
His feature project The Eviction was selected for the 2024 Tribeca Creators Market. He's also an alumnus of the 2023 CFC Norman Jewison Film Program and the 2022 Warner Brothers Discovery x Canadian Academy Writers Program.
He loves stories about the horrors lurking beneath everyday life — impossible odds that push characters to fight for survival.
Mitch holds a Hons. BA in Philosophy from the University of Toronto, a diploma in Comedy Writing & Performance from Humber College, a post-grad certificate in Screenwriting & Narrative Design from George Brown College, and a piece of paper for graduating from the Second City Conservatory.
