Astrid Lartigues, co-founder of the Lartigues and Lorenzi law firm, asks her daughter Audrey to arrange mediation between young Rose's parents and grandparents. Astrid's partner Sofia Lorenzi deals with a couple in the process of divorcing. The cause of the dispute is who gets custodianship of Lady, their dog.

Astrid represents a divorced woman who is accused of harassing her ex-husband's new girlfriend and risks losing custody of her teenaged daughter. Meanwhile, Audrey deals with a couple of adult-film stars who have changed their minds about their prenuptial agreement at the last minute.

Her parents are divorced and the incident happened during the week when her father was looking after her. Her mother takes advantage to apply for sole custody. Audrey is contacted by a client who wants to have his wife's show banned: he considers it damaging to his reputation.
