The Sharks return from the World Championships in Orlando and are faced with the huge undertaking of building a new dream team. Open tryouts draw hopefuls from around the globe as fresh faces go up against seasoned veterans for a coveted spot. Off the mat, sidelined star Bruney’s cheer career may be over as she anxiously awaits medical clearance. And flyer Ashleigh must endure a chaotic driving lesson from her twin sister Jenna and roommate Knoxy.

Coach Ali’s new team is experiencing growing pains. But, there’s no time to work through the kinks because the newly minted Sharks are off to the exclusive Hot Shots skills camp in Miami. It’s their first ever invite and Ali’s expectations are sky-high. In the end, it will all come down to the highlight of Hot Shots – the individual skills competitions. Can the team overcome a string of errors, falls and missteps and prove they can compete with cheer’s superstar elite? Meanwhile, the newest Shark Dani joins the team and attempts to fit in on and off the mat. And veteran Power must make a life changing career decision.

Coach Ali announces she will make her decision after the team performs together for the first time in front of thousands of people at a professional football game.
