In the suburbs rich with greenery sprawls the massive performing arts school Saotome Academy. In order to grab ahold of the light leading to show business, a girl walks through the academy's gates... Her name is Nanami Haruka. Inspired to become a composer by the popular idol HAYATO, the story of her numerous trials and beautiful princes of music is about to begin...!

Aiming to pass the Shining Agency New Talent Discovery Audition held at graduation, the academy student's first assignment is the recording test. Unfortunately, Haruka, who is unable to write sheet music, is paired up with Otoya, who has no experience writing lyrics. Will the two of them be able to pass the assignment...?!

Thanks to being raised since she was a child by her music-loving grandmother, Haruka is confident in her ability to play the piano. However, for some reason, she is unable to play in class. Seeing Haruka shrink in response to her classmates' slanderous words and become increasingly depressed, Masato takes action.

Triggered by Masato's actions, his roommate and childhood friend Ren begins making passes at Haruka. However, Ren makes a habit of neglecting the academy's assignments. When Haruka learns Ren has received an ultimatum from the academy and may even be expelled, she begs him to turn in his assignment on time, but...?

Syo admires the teacher of the S Class and currently active idol Hyuga Ryuya. News of an amateur audition to co-star with him comes flying into the academy. However, due to Syo's fatal weakness, his odds of getting the part seem hopeless. When Haruka and her friends discover this, they formulate a plan to help Syo overcome his weakness.

Today is the day of Haruka's idol HAYATO's new song announcement event. Ignoring the concern of her friends, Haruka heads into town alone in high spirits, but she ends up lost just as her friends predicted. Just as she reaches her wit's end, she happens upon Natsuki and greets him, but Natsuki isn't his usual kind self...

After a successful debut, STARISH is now on the fast track. Later the President introduces STARISH to Pioneering Princes to teach them what professionals are like.

Syo’s lands a role in the new Prince of Fighting special with this idol, Ryuya Hyuga. With a successful cd release and job offers members of ST☆RISH believe they are true idols, but Saotome informs them that they are not yet idols unless they win the ultimate award.

Hijirikawa has been invited to audition for the historical musical, Singing Swordsman of Justice. As people encourage him to try out a love scene in the script has caught him by surprise.

Otoya improvement has impressed the rest of the team, but his random disappearance leads some members to believe he is attending voice training classes. Later, when Cecil is asked to do an impression on a variety show, Otoya is concerned about this pop culture knowledge.

After being invited to be a model for a show sponsored by the Jinguji Group, Ren thinks of the hard times his brother, forced him to become an idol. But an unexpected event at the show may show Ren in a new light.

Shining Agency's idol group STARISH, composer Nanami Haruka, and senior idol group QUARTET NIGHT have been making steady progress expanding their field of activity. In the entertainment world, artists and idols are beginning to enter the selection process to become the opening act of "Super Star Sports," also known as Triple S.

When Shining refuses to enter STARISH in the Triple S concert, the members of STARISH trust in their potential and agree to work harder than they ever have before. Meanwhile, STARISH and NIGHT QUARTET head to a resort to film for a variety TV show.

Shining puts together the Cross-Unit Project for STARISH. The first phase features a rock musical starring Otoya and Natsuki. Though they're both overflowing with enthusiasm, they're given unexpected roles. As they dive into rehearsal to master their roles, they find their enthusiasm gets them nowhere...

When Haruka arrives at the shooting location of an upcoming film starring Ai, his costars Natsuki and Syo describe the perfection of his acting. However, Ai is unable to understand one of his lines. Given his perfect performance, the others find this statement strange. That night they discover Ai's greatest secret...

For Cross-Unit Project phase two, Ren, Syo, and Cecil are tasked with producing a smart phone commercial. However, all three insist on their own idea and can't manage to agree. Haruka is worried about the boys, and the deadline approaches ruthlessly...

Haruka's new job is composing a new song for Camus, who is performing at the opening ceremony of the Shining Tower. To learn more about him, Haruka asks to accompany Camus to work, and he agrees on one condition. Will Haruka be able to write a song to satisfy Camus, who is perfect in every way...?!

When QUARTET NIGHT is chosen to perform as the Triple S Opening Artist, they decline the opportunity after STARISH and HEAVENS give equally compelling performances. Raging Otori and Shining Saotome propose another musical showdown to determine the opening artist between the three groups in which all three of them must sing songs written by Haruka! Who will win the decisive concert and the honor of performing at the Triple S?

The members of STARISH and HEAVENS are shocked to learn they will be singing duets with members from the other group to prepare for the decisive concert. Meanwhile, QUARTET NIGHT appears to be experiencing some discord of its own.

The top starters of the Duet Project are Tokiya of STARISH and Eiji of HEAVENS. Tokiya and Haruka approach their unknown rival with nervousness, but surprisingly they're met by the voice of an angel...

The second group of the Duet Project is Syo of STARISH and Yamato of HEAVENS. Syo is excited to sing a duet with Hyuga Ryuya's younger brother, but a powerful rivalry with his older brother surges through Yamato's heart.

The third duo of the Duet Project are Cecil of STARISH and Shion of HEAVENS. Trying to follow up on Tokiya and Syo's success, Cecil aggressively approaches the project, but Shion closes off his heart more and more as though in response to Cecil's passion.

The fourth duo of the Duet Project are Ren of STARISH and Van of HEAVENS who are also slated to play rivals in a TV drama. When Van begins aggressively pursuing Haruka, Ren heads straight into battle with his own passionate feelings hidden in his heart.
