PJ tries to clear things up with Bobby and wants him to know that she is interested, but she also wants to keep their relationship on the down low. She doesn’t realize that she is just confusing things more by using analogies. Meanwhile, Stephanie signs up for Match.com to find a man.

PJ introduces her new acquaintance, Amad, to Stephanie in hopes that they will hit it off. Stephanie is crushed when she learns that Amad is really into PJ and not her. Meanwhile, the fan that Brendan has brought home is driving PJ crazy. The guys find out about PJ and Bobby’s secret one time hook up.

PJ and Hank advance their relationship to the next level when he stays over. The next morning when they are on their way to breakfast, PJ sees Brendan with Wendy. She later confronts him and Brendan tells her he is going to propose. Meanwhile, the guys get on PJ’s case when she opts to hang out with Hank over them.

Trouty, Kenny’s friend, joins the poker game. The guys don’t like Trouty and think he’s a bad hang. Meanwhile, PJ tries to get the guys to hang out with Hank. In return, PJ agrees to spend some time with Wendy.

Stephanie's shocked to see who PJ's mystery man is, and it doesn't take her long to get in PJ's business, making the trip a little less romantic. Back in Chicago, the boys are experiences changes in their professional and social lives, only some of which are for the better.

PJ throws a singles dinner party in hopes of finding her Mr. Right. Stephanie becomes an author when she pens a relationship-themed book. Andy and Meredith hire a nanny, Elsa, who happens to be hot and from Sweden, and the boys hold nothing back in their competition to impress her.

PJ lands a job ghost writing for a famous athlete but finds it a difficult task when the athlete becomes more than she can handle. Meanwhile, Brendan dives deeper into depression when he runs into his ex, Wendy, who is happily pregnant and in a relationship.

The gang, especially PJ, is stunned to learn that Bobby has proposed to Elsa who is in danger of being deported. Meanwhile, Mike joins Andy's Improv class and Stephanie's book is an instant success.

Kenny begins to date two women and this drives Mike insane. Andy decides to set Mike up with his work wife, Jo, in hopes to boost his mojo but learns she's only interested in Andy. Brendan takes a temp job at Andy's law firm and the guys read Stephanie's book only to discover she's used them as source material.

Bobby's brother, Jack, shows up for Bobby's party and takes and interest in P.J. Stephanie meets a man named Warren at a bar and they strike up an informative conversation.

Bobby experiences cold feet on his wedding day; P.J. gets caught in a difficult situation between Bobby and his brother (Billy Burke); Andy's new baby.

Keeping her new boyfriend a secret from her friends proves difficult for P.J.; Brendan opens a nightclub; Mike finds good reasons to keep his moustache.

When P.J. gets her own column in the paper, the guys tease her that she got the promotion because of her looks; Andy gives Bobby much-needed advice about women.

Bobby takes exception to PJ's competitive nature during the annual gaming decathlon. Meanwhile, Stephanie uses the guys to research a new article she is writing.

Brendan comes to the notion that PJ should make all his decisions. Meanwhile, Kenny forms a new band.

Spring fever hits the Windy City as springlike warmth during the middle of winter prompts PJ and Bobby to hold a picnic in the park...but a crucial life decision complicates the outing. Meanwhile, Kenny begins a new relationship, and Mike tries vainly to emulate actor Mathew McConaughey by buying a dog and a Jeep.

PJ and the guys look for a replacement for Andy, while reminiscing about how they all first met.

PJ, Bobby, Kenny and Stephanie go out to a nice dinner like adults.

A movie producer is interested in Stephanie's book; Mike wants a surprise birthday party.

The gang discusses what it is to be a man these days. PJ has a list of things men should know how to do for Mike and Kenny. Meanwhile, Bobby has moved in and starts to fix things around the house.

PJ fears the passion in her relationship has fizzled; the guys keep secrets from one another.

Bobby is considering a new career; Brendan decides it's time to move out of PJ's.
