Joe tries to prove that Allison's dreams are stress related by sending descriptions of them to law enforcement agencies. However, when one of her dreams matches a homicide in Texas, his attempt is thwarted.

Allison questions her powers when her old boss asks for her help in selecting a jury that will reinstate the death penalty for a murderer/rapist. This causes Allison to suspect that she has helped put the wrong man on death row.

Allison has a dream of a husband and wife committing a murder/suicide. D.A. Devalos introduces her to a friend of his, Detective Lee Scanlon, who's sister and brother in-law's deaths were also ruled a murder/suicide, and sees a connection. After learning about Allison's methods of investigation, Scanlon decides he doesn't want her help.

Allison tries convincing Devalos that she heard a witness misinforming a police sketch artist, making them look for the wrong man. Meanwhile, 6-year-old Bridgette's new playmate indicates that another member of the family can see the dead.

Allison seeks Catherine's (the psychic she talked to in "Pilot") help after learning that Joe has scheduled a biopsy exam. The psychic gives her a strange message that later comes back to haunt Allison. A case about the homicide of a police officer takes a shocking turn when Allison dreams where the murder weapon is located and is then called to the stand to testify how she obtained the information. Meanwhile, Allison fears that Joe is having an affair when he repeatedly comes home late from work.

Allison runs into the man who kidnapped her daughter in one of her dreams at the District Attorney's office. She learns that he is a "Good Samaritan" who witnessed a robbery and is fully cooperating. After learning that he has kidnapped multiple young women, Allison reaches a roadblock in her investigation that leads her to yet another unbelievable breakthrough in the case. Meanwhile, Joe tutors Ariel in math, which in turn brings Allison to another shocking discovery.

While Capt. Push lingers between life and death, Allison struggles to decipher confusing messages from the other side in an attempt to stop a serial killer before he claims his next victim.

All outside noise is drowned out as a popular song is continuously played very loud, and only in Allison's head. The song gives Allison clues to the whereabouts of a missing coed.

Allison dreams that she's a woman who's been committed to a mental institution in 1959. After viewing taped sessions from the clinic, Allison discovers that the woman from her dream had made claims of being Allison DuBois, living in 2005.

Allison's recent habit of sleepwalking keeps landing her in dangerous situations. This leaves her exhausted while she hurries to solve a kidnapping case before it's too late.

Allison is having dreams about an old high school friend and decides to find her. Meanwhile a man seeks the district attorney's help in finding his daughter who has been missing for a week.

Allison helps the district attorney put away a murderer whose lawyer is also using a psychic....

Allison's old flame, Clay Bicks, appears at her doorstep moments after dying, unaware that he is dead. When he accepts the fact that he's dead and will never get to be with the woman he loved, he decides he's going to stay in Allison's house so he can at least be close to her. This upsets Joe, and Allison decides that something must be done to get rid of Clay. Meanwhile, Allison shares a bunch of odd dreams with Bridgette, except Bridgette's dreams keep coming to her in the form of cartoons for some reason.

Allison dreams about the same day over and over again. Each time she finds more important clues. Joe tries to get affection from Allison. Ariel has problems at school.

A serial killer from the past begins to possess people so he can kill again. Allison races against the clock to save his next victim, but she becomes a target in the process.

Allison gets Joe a camcorder for his birthday. But soon she starts seeing disturbing images through it that may or may not be connected to a murder.

Allison helps famous FBI Profiler with a serial killer case. Joe gets concerned when Marie starts to watch static on TV.

Allison and Ariel are starting to have dreams about a crime. They are dreaming about it from different perspectives, which reveals two suspects.

Now that Allison's special abilities have been revealed to the public, everyone's lives have been turned upside down. Allison starts to have dreams about a boy who was kidnapped from a toy store, but is unable to turn to Devalos or Scanlon for help. She decides to call the company hired by the missing boy's family and makes an unusual deal with the company's investigator, Cynthia Keener.

Allison tries to help investigator Cynthia Keener find a missing teenage girl. Meanwhile, Ariel dreams of Allison's high school days from the 80's after being asked out to a concert without any chaperones.

Joe brings a reluctant Allison with him to a party at a prospective employer's house. Later on, the employer's daughter disappears, leading Allison to connect her recent dreams about Paris to the disappearance. Now it's up to Allison to save the daughter, which coincidentally will also secure Joe a job.

A young deaf girl is kidnapped, causing Allison to completely lose her hearing. With Allison at a loss, Joe decides to help her and Cynthia Keener investigate the kidnapping.

Larry Watt, a defense attorney who has caused trouble in Allison's past, asks Allison to be a consultant for him. Low on money, Allison accepts his offer. She later has a dream that his client murdered his wife.

Devalos tries to reclaim the D.A.'s office. Allison's support of Devalos is tested when she has visions of Senator Jed Garrity, Devalos' strongest political supporter, involved in a horrible conspiracy.

Delavos receives help from Allison when he investigates the murder of his friends sister. But the case is taken into an unexpected direction when when Allison's visions involves the friend's former husband and current spouse. On the domestic front, Bridgette finds herself in trouble at school when she is caught drawing pictures of her teacher in the nude.

Allison dreams of a ghost who was a witness to several murders. Meanwhile, Ariel has a strange reaction to an assignment in health class.

While working on a 17 year-old-crime, Allison exhibits unusual behavior that may be pivotal in solving the case, but at the same time puts her family at risk. Meanwhile, Joe's dinner invitation to a colleague yields surprising results.

Allison wakes up under a freeway overpass, not knowing where she is or how she got there. Her lack of recent memory causes her to start thinking she may have killed someone with her car.

Allison is asked to help find a missing daughter and her visions seem to incriminate her father, but Allison believes this is wrong after a chat with the woman's mother. Meanwhile, Joe is suffering from sleep deprivation, while Scanlon and Lynn's relationship is severely tested.

A horrific apocalyptic dream has Allison shaken, as does the earthquake which follows. Convinced that the end is near, Allison seeks wisdom from a survival guru and purchasing provisions. Meanwhile, Ariel has a crush on a upperclassman who needs help with his geometry class

Allison and her family deal with the outcome of her brain surgery and its possible lasting effects. Also, a local television station owner asks Devalos and Scanlon to look into the possible stalking of his sportscaster, who is also his wife.

When Ariel acts strangely, Allison becomes worried that her daughter might be possessed with the spirit of a murdered stripper who wants revenge on her killer.

When Allison's friend with cancer suddenly dies she suspects a hospital employee may be at fault. Meanwhile, Bridgette writes a story that closely follows what later happens at Joe's job interview.

Allison believes she is having after effects from her recent brain surgery after experiencing strange symbols as visions. However, as the story plays out, it seems the symbols may be the key to uncovering the true identity of a serial killer.

On the 100th episode of Medium, an infant is kidnapped and Allison investigates the disappearance. But when she becomes too obsessed with the infant, Joe starts to get worried about her. Meanwhile, Bridgette and Joe are surprised after Marie manages to play the clarinet without any issues even though she hasn't attended any classes, while Bridgette is struggling to play.

The film "Night of the Living Dead" gets Allison nightmares where scenes from the movie are put in her mind. It results in her getting cuts and bite marks and even clues that lead to hear funeral director's killer.

When they have the same dream about a missing homeless man who is the subject of Allison's most recent case, Bridgette and Allison swap personalities, causing mayhem at home, at school and with the investigation.

While investigating a rash of murders, Allison sees floating symbols above people's heads, signs that she thinks could match them with their perfect mate. Also, Joe is put in a tough situation when one of his employees accuses another of sexual harassment.

Scanlon is haunted by dreams of his late brother, leaving Allison concerned about her colleague. Also, while making her final preparations for college, Ariel has visions of missing young women, past and present.

While investigating a missing girl's murder, Allison experiences more friction with Scanlon after finding a possible link to his late brother. Also, Ariel deals with her siblings' reactions to her leaving for college.

When Allison gets a skin graft on her hand after a burn, she is puzzled when the same hand acts with a mind of its own, gesturing uncontrollably. Also, Bridgette keeps her real role on the soccer team a secret from her parents.

When Allison begins having flashes to a specific time in the future, her sense of dread grows as she feels more and more powerless to stop a catastrophic event from occurring.
