Today Now! host Jim Haggerty is starting his cross country pork-eating tour in the great state of Kentucky. Jim's in the kitchen of the Country Smokestack learning all the secrets into what goes into good pork-- that is, if his wife stops callings him about massive amounts of water pouring from a pipe in their condo!

The pork man heads to Indianapolis foodie mecca The Benson to sample pork delicacies, but not before he gets a shocking call from the kennel where his wife Deb impounded Jim's aggressive dog Nathan. Later, whole restaurant cheers Jim on to eat a delicious pork belly but there's one face in the crowd with some special news for Jim.

It's a Kitchen Takeover as Jim makes his own carnitas burrito at La Playita in Wilmington, North Carolina. The newly single pork man has a lot on his plate, and we're not just talking about pork! He's also frantically looking for someone to move his car before the parking structure it's parked in is blown up almost a thousand miles away. And Jim gets more than he bargains for when he finally samples his handiwork.

Jim's pork tour heads to Pennsylvania, and he's being joined by country music star Miranda Lambert for one-of-a-kind pork salad at Trixie's BBQ. But before Jim rubs elbows with country music royalty, he's surprising his niece with a pork chop for two. Pork up for a family-sized episode of Porkin' Across America!

Jim is running the New England Pork Marathon--six states, six porks, one day. Can he do it? Or will Massachusetts prove too hot for him to handle? If there's anyone who can do it, it's pork man Jim Haggerty.

Jim is stepping back in time to the medieval age at Dinner Kingdom in New Jersey. They have plenty of pork, battling knights, and wifi so he can skype into his niece's funeral. King Haggerty takes care of all of his professional and family obligations in the royal robes he was always meant to don.
