Jeon Yeong-ha leisurely runs a peaceful vacation rental after his wife's death — until one day, unexpected guests find a way to his accommodation.

Yeong-ha begins to feel uneasy about his former guest. Koo Sang-jun faces his guilt after the grisly consequences of leaving his motel unattended.

The mysterious woman returns unannounced, forcing Yeong-ha to confront her. As Sang-jun's family life spirals, he contemplates speaking out publicly.

After helping Sang-jun with his case, Yoon Bo-min naturally gravitates towards violent crimes. Yeong-ha becomes troubled by the woman's erratic behavior.

What began as a truth-seeking journey turns into a turf war for Yeong-ha and the woman — growing more intense each round, with no end in sight.

Yeong-ha researches the crumbling motel to figure out his next move, encountering Koo Gi-ho, who can't seem to let go of the past.
