Juan, a street busker who often picks up pickpockets, is on his way home after a day of busking and pickpocketing. He meets Maudy, a former contestant on a talent show, who wants to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge.

In Bandung, Btari, preparing to leave for Jakarta to look for her brother. However, while still waiting for departure at Cecep's house, Mr. Mutaqin appeared with Benny, his son, appearing to invite Btari home.

At his new place of work, Cungkring, his supervisor, makes Maudy work with him to get acquainted with Aga, a wealthy young businessman who becomes a loyal customer of Dindin Carwash. Aga tries to make a good impression in front of Maudy, who doesn't have any prejudice. Cungkringpun, aggressively promote Aga which does have many advantages. However, Maudy was not at all interested in making Cungkring upset.

Maudy, who had just received news that her video entry had qualified for the final round, had to convey the news to Juan, who for some reason could not be contacted. Maudy herself was afraid because the success required her to perform live singing songs in the final round. He is still traumatized by his defeat in the Indonesian Talented contest, Yes!

Juan's past is revealed thanks to Ruswan. It turns out that Juan had an illicit love affair with Lala, the wife of a cloth merchant, which resulted in a baby who later died of illness. Juan was then left by Lala who returned to her first husband. Ruswan's story even adds to Maudy's curiosity. He wanted to know more but Ruswan only directed Maudy to a shop owned by Ridho, Lala's husband.

Juan and Maudy only had a day to change the lyrics from Indonesian to English. Luckily Inong stepped in to help. It turned out that Inong had decent English skills because he had trained to work abroad. The song This Place was born for Juan and Maudy to perform in the final round.
