Elena, a teacher in a high school in a provincial town, divorces her husband after many years and goes through a stressful period. However, she agrees to go on a date with Andreas, a successful heart surgeon, a colleague of her sister, and the father of one of her students.

Elena is living a nightmare as it seems that she can not support the complaint against Andreas with evidence and she feels that everyone disputes her, even her own people.
