Hyun Joo enjoys her happy single career woman’s life. After a water accident in childhood, she realizes that she got married to the same guy in her past three lives which in turn makes her decide not to marry at all in this life. One day, an unexpected event happens to her and it rocks her life upside down.

Hyun Joo gets acknowledged by her colleagues as a competent webtoon producer, but she gets a pink slip from the company due to a conspiracy organized by some webtoon artists. The CEO of Sunwoo Pharmaceuticals, Hwang Ji Woo, runs into Hyun Joo in an elevator, but he collapses due to an unexpected accident.

When Hyun Joo’s mom found out she was fired in her job, her mom insisted to make Hyun Joo go on blind dates. During the the blind date, Do Gyum interrupted and ruined the talk. Her mom got furious and threaten that she must pay back 50,000 dollars when another blind date will be ruined. Do Gyum left his company, and Hyun Joo got scouted in another company.

To all of the encounters, Do Gyum found it suspicious. Ji Woo just once met Hyeon Ju in the elevator, then later scouted her in his company, then appeared in the blind date.

Hyeon Ju hears rumors that Ji Woo might be gay and becomes worried when Do Gyum and Ji Woo decide to become roommates. Hyeon Ju’s friends suggest that Do Gyum might also have feelings for Ji Woo, which makes her even more confused as to what she should do. Meanwhile, Do Gyum’s suspicions about Ji Woo continues to grow.

Concerned that Ji Woo might misconstrue his intention for moving in, Do Gyum blurts out that he and Hyeon Ju are dating. Hyeon Ju is baffled that Do Gyum chose her of all people to pretend to date. Meanwhile, Hyeon Ju and Do Gyum go to Mount Hambaek to do research for Do Gyum’s new webtoon. When the rain starts pouring down, Ji Woo chases after them.
