While on a road trip to visit her boyfriend in Montana, Danielle Sullivan and her sister Grace are kidnapped by a truck driver on a remote part of the highway, setting off a chain of events that leads private detectives Cody Hoyt and Cassie Dewell to team up with Cody’s estranged wife and ex-cop, Jenny Hoyt, to search for the sisters. But when the investigators discover these are not the only girls who have disappeared in the area, it’s clear they’ve stumbled onto something much bigger than them all.

Forced to form an unlikely team, Cassie and Jenny set out to continue the search for the missing girls. Meanwhile, Danielle, Grace and Jerrie get to work on planning their escape, leading Legarski to struggle with the consequences of his actions as a distracted Ronald deals with a difficult relationship with his mother.

Still on the search for the missing girls, Cassie grows more suspicious of Legarski after a threatening conversation between the two. Meanwhile, Grace manages to make headway on the girls’ quest for freedom. Merilee pleads with Legarski to open up emotionally before it’s too late, and Helen finally confronts Ronald about his increasingly strange behavior.

Unsatisfied with the investigation now that the girls' disappearance has made headlines, Cassie and Jenny take things into their own hands, tapping into their individual strengths to make headway in the case. Meanwhile, Legarski attempts to keep cool, but Ronald takes a different approach to protect himself. Still captive, Danielle and Jerrie tend to Grace, who makes a painful decision in an attempt to save them all.

Jenny and Cassie feel as if they're closing in on Legarski, but they are racing against the clock as he and Ronald are preparing to move the girls. Jerrie makes one last attempt to convince Ronald to let them go. Elsewhere, Cassie visits Merilee to question her about her husband and Ronald aggressively confronts his mother.

Jenny and Cassie officially team up to track down Ronald. Merilee struggles with the fact she didn't truly know her husband. Helen learns about her son's deeds.

After Ronald's escape, Cassie distracts herself with work. Jenny, recovering from her near-death experience, decides to take Sheriff Tubb up on his offer for her to rejoin the force. Ronald is wrapped up in something he can't get out of.

Cassie takes on a missing person case brought in by a concerned girlfriend. Jenny continues to search for clues relating to the mysterious truck accident. Max, Harper, Madison and Bridger are at odds over stolen money.

Jenny and Cassie sit down with Tubb, who reveals a case that goes far beyond their jurisdiction. Cassie and Jenny kick their search for Tanya into high gear.

Cassie and Jerrie search a development site and run into someone unexpected. Meanwhile, Wolf believes he is making progress with Ronald, and Deputy Harvey comes face-to face with Bridger.

Cassie and Jenny struggle to dodge Donno’s attacks and the kids attempt to save Bridger as Ren is forced to figure out what happened to her plan. Meanwhile, change is in the air when Ronald seemingly experiences a breakthrough and Jerrie receives an unwelcome visitor from her past. Later, Jenny’s unwillingness to drop a lead lands her in hot water with Travis and his not-so-forgiving bosses.

Cassie grows suspicious of Max after noticing her keychain matches one found nearby the crime scene and decides to confront her. Jenny and Travis get together to talk in secret, or so they think, as Smiley’s curiosity gets the best of him, and he follows Travis to the meetup. Later, to his dismay, Travis comes face to face with Ren and Donno who are determined to get answers out of him; and Lindor pays Wolf a visit.

It’s been a few months of relative peace, but all that’s about to change when Sunny Barnes and her family set up Sunny Day Excursions just outside of town. Cassie is called in to investigate a missing backpacker. Beau and Jenny track a murderer.

When disgruntled realtor Tonya calls the police on a squatter living in one of her homes, Jenny arrives only to discover a shocking connection to her past tied to the case. Cassie and Beau work to track the still-missing backpacker. Beau’s daughter Emily takes a campground investigation dangerously into her own hands, but has she stumbled upon a story far more nefarious than she could have imagined?

While investigating a scamming operation with Beau, Jenny discovers a connection to the crime that sends her reeling. A camper at Sunny Day Excursions has gone missing, and Beau’s similarly stubborn daughter, Emily, is eager to solve the case. Yet, with Sunny determined to cover up loose ends, her digging might lead to more than she bargained for in the end. Cassie and Denise run into a strange man on the side of the road who may just lead them down a new path.

Jenny and Beau investigate the bloody murder of a woman in her own backyard that turns into quite the family affair. Back at the Sunny Day Excursions, Buck grows increasingly suspicious of Sunny while Avery and Emily continue to question the disappearance of the missing camper. Cassie and Cormac discover something unimaginable out on the trail. Tonya and Donno accept a deadly proposition.

After discovering Mark’s body in the woods, Cassie enlists Jenny’s help to solidify her suspicions that he was, in fact, murdered. Meanwhile, Tonya and Donno set up camp hoping to find Luke and Paige, and Sunny is feeling the pressure of all those watchful eyes looking for her missing campers.

Jenny and Beau are on the hunt to find the killer of a decorated veteran. Cassie closes in on the Barnes family, all while getting closer with Cormac. Tonya and Donno devise a plan for their own best interest.
